How to select Research Papers

1. Go through the title of all available Research papers under the “CLASS NOTES -> RESEARCH PAPERS” tab.
2. Try to contemplate the topic of the paper looking at the title.
3. For the titles that interests you, copy the title name along with the conference it was published in and search for it on Google Scholar
4. Make sure you are connected to the internet under UTA domain, so that you are not charged to download the paper.
5. After you download the paper, read the abstract, introduction and conclusion to see if the paper is of interest to you.
6. Repeat the process until you are through with all available papers.
7. Now select “four” top preferred papers that you would like to cover and sort them according to your preference.
8. P1: Most interesting paper to you, followed by P2, P3, and P4.
9. You have next “two weekends” to work on it, with a deadline of Wednesday, February 8th 2017.
10. I will post a google sheet by Friday 3rd of February and explain how you can submit your paper preferences.
11. Please note that the paper assignment process is First Come First Serve, so try to post your preference early.
