Mousa Alhajlah

Hi, welcome to my website! My name is Mousa Alhajlah and I am an assistant professor in Computer Science College at King Saud University .

Current Research Interests

Road maps applications are becoming trend these days and there are differnt Road maps represnts the same area, though, they are having dissmilarity due to serveral reasons, such as: different tools that have different accuracy used to capture the data, and different date and time for capturing the data make some dataset up-to-date while others outdated. Acuiring new datasets are expensive in terms of cost and time consuming. Here, where it comes new approach utilize the existing road maps and matching to each other in order to find the similarities and differences between them.

My primary research interests are developing technique to introduce TAREEQ framework that take difference road maps and find the similarities and differences between them. This framework has four components: datasets preparation, Generate the candidate similar roads from different dataset, run the similarity measurments, and decide if the candidate roads are similar, different, or partially similar. This framework can be used in many application:

  • Highlight Road Differences for Road Maps Corrections.
  • Matching Road Maps with Moving Objects Trajectories.
  • Compare the Road Map with its Old Versions to capture the change overtime.
  • Road Maps Integrations and data enrichments.
